Steve and his wife, Jana moved to Norman in 1984. After five years in the IT industry with Southwestern Bell and AT&T, Steve joined the staff of the University of Oklahoma as Telecommunications Manager in 1986. After serving in various IT positions, he retired from OU in 2019.

Steve, Jana, and their two children joined Christ the King in 2006. They were drawn to CTK by the strong biblical teaching and genuine fellowship of believers demonstrated by the membership. Whether performing miscellaneous building repairs, organizing financial records, working alongside fellow members on various projects or performing “other duties as assigned”, Steve considers it a joy and blessing to serve God’s Kingdom through CTK.
