MISSION STATEMENT:
Under the authority and protection of the session and deacons, and supporting the church’s vision statement, the Women in the Church seek to complement and supplement the specific ministries of Christ the King Church. We strive to offer encouragement to women in their marriages, families, and other relationships while sharing the love of Christ.
Titus 2:3-5
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good and to train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”
CTK Women’s Ministry is not limited to those women who are married, or to those who have children or are over the age of 18. Rather ALL women (and young women) are encouraged to be involved in Women’s Ministry at CTK. We fully believe that the ordinary means of building Christ’s Kingdom is through His covenant community – the local church body. As Women in our church, we actively pursue this calling.

- Coffee Table
- Love coffee? Want to bless the church? It’s no small feat to serve the congregation with a hot, steaming coffee or tea and a chance to warm themselves and fellowship at the same time!
- Temporary Meals
- Under the guidance and direction Jennifer Johnson we provide meals to those undergoing loss, surgery, moves, or any other life event that makes kitchen time difficult. If you need a meal or would like to provide a meal when the need arises, contact Jennifer Johnson
- Fellowship Meals
- At least once a quarter we have a fellowship meal following the morning service. See Cathryn McIntyre for details and let her know if you’d like to help
- Additional areas to serve CTK through the Women’s Ministry
- Lead a small ladies Bible study or book club
- Mentor or if desired be mentored
- Head up small fellowship groups of women – coordinate the groups
- Substitute in children’s CE
- Volunteer for set up and/or clean up at Church fellowships
